Step1:Warm-up

Play a   guess game : read some information about Jacky Chang. Then lead in Audry   Hepburn.

Watch   some pictures of Audry Hepburn, Ask the Ss “Who is the beauty?” Do you know   any films she acted?

Step2: Presentation

1. Skimming

Task 1: Read the passage on page 82 and 83. While you listen to the tape, try   to get some information about Audrey Hepburn, and find out Audrey Hepburn’s profile.

这个课时是初中课程中比较难的,学生对文中出现的人名、地名发音都不是很到位,这时教师用激励性的语言,多方位地对学生评价,尽可能避免评价引发学生心理的不适和烦躁,同时也是紧抓发展学生自主解决问题能力的良好时机,主动培养学生自主阅读的积极性,并使之形成良好的习惯
